Is that braggy?

I don’t mean it to be braggy.

TV Review: Celebrity Family Feud, The Office vs. American Gladiators

Somewhat passable mindless entertainment. The Office team consisted of Kevin, Phyllis, Meredith, Oscar and Creed. They did not play in character (actually, I’m not sure about Creed) and treated the ordeal with a degree of seriousness. The gladiators featured were Wolf, Venom, Titan, Jet and Lalia Ali.

Some thoughts:

** Family Fued categories used to be so wholesome. The 2008 version asks much more salacious questions such as:
- What would a woman do if she found her husband was having an affair? (with an answer of “Hit the floozie” WTF?)
- Name a sexy Jessica (Creed answered with his second grade teacher…)
- Name someone who might come to the door that a woman would want to have an affair with (Yikes!)
- Name something that people practice doing sexily
- And my favorite, name something that you blow up

** Venom is absolutely awful at this…

** For the things you blow up question, Jet answered “mailboxes” and I was all like, “Huh?” And of course, it was on the board along with buildings/houses (houses!) and bridges! Who answered that question with “house”?!?!

** The second half of the episode featured the cast of My Name is Earl, who did play in character and that was PAINFUL to watch. Really, really painful.

Well, my curiosity is sated. I don’t think I’ll be going out of my way to watch any more of these…
