After three listens this weekend, I gotta say pretty much anything off Apples in Stereo’s New Magnetic Wonder
This album is fantastic! It was released last February and I completely ignored it up until a few weeks ago (when “Sunday Sounds” made SotM). I don’t know what compelled me to download it from eMusic a while back other than the fact that it had received pretty good reviews in some Best of 2007 discussions. I wish I had paid some attention to it prior to the compilation of my list for 2007 as it would have easily taken the #2 slot and given The Pipettes’ album a run for its money. I now have their entire back catalog on my Lala wishlist but no one is parting with them…
